Abstract

The implementation of cloud-based financial management systems has increasingly become a pivotal aspect of modern governance. This study examines the impact of the Regional Financial Management Information System (RFMIS) Cloud on the governance practices of Jember Regency. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research explores how the adoption of cloud technology has influenced financial transparency, efficiency, and decision-making processes within regional government operations. The findings suggest that cloud-based systems have significantly improved the accuracy and accessibility of financial data, leading to enhanced transparency and more informed policy-making. However, challenges such as data security and the need for technical training persist. This study provides valuable insights for other regions considering the adoption of cloud-based financial systems, highlighting both the benefits and potential obstacles.
